A late or missed period is the first indication that you may be pregnant. New Beginnings is glad to provide a urinalysis. No appointment is needed if you arrive during regular hours. If available, a lay counselor will meet with you immediately after the test is confirmed. Otherwise, we encourage you to schedule an appointment. To confirm that you are pregnant, a blood test or examination should be performed by a medical professional.
In addition to a free pregnancy test, New Beginnings also makes referrals to the Department of Economic Services (DES) and Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) if needed.
